Full steam ahead for the summer Belmont Festival

Your Belmont Conservative Councillor team has initiated the re-launch of the Belmont Festival in summer 2010.

It is hoped that this exciting Sunday event will take place in July. The Belmont Conservative Team will be working closely with the organising Committee which will include local community figures Peter Mattey (Chairman of Belmont & South Cheam Residents Association), Mark Williams (Vicar of St. Johns Church), Avenue Primary School and the Belmont Police Safer Neighbourhood Team. They will be raising money for the Royal Marsden charity.

Belmont Conservative Council candidate David Hicks says “It is wonderful that the Belmont Festival is returning. This will build on the local pride of Belmont residents.

We hope local residents will get involved and help with the organisation of this event. It promises to be a fun-packed afternoon, made even better by fund raising for such a good cause.”

To volunteer your help for the Belmont Festival, contact Councillor Peter Geiringer on: 020 8647 7681

Further details will be communicated.
