Local residents close to the Pobjoy Mint Building on the Oldfields Trading Estate in Sutton will be glad to hear that four years of campaigning has paid off (see earlier news story).
Local Conservatives, Cliff, Heather and Lorraine, have been working on behalf of local residents with the site owners, developers and Council officials to solve the problems.
The Sutton North Conservative Team is proud to announce that planning permission has been granted which should see the regeneration of this site transforming it from a derelict eyesore to a thriving new industrial estate full of small local businesses.
Local Conservative council candidate Heather Howell says “The Liberal Democrats made many empty promises to everyone about this site, I am pleased that we are finally getting to the point when we can improve both the look of the area and bring new job opportunities into North Sutton.”
