 Local Conservative Councillor Jonathan Pritchard is campaigning with fellow councillors Graham Whitham and Misdaq Zaidi, to encourage local people to support Cheam’s independent shops and services.
Jonathan says “People I meet say they are concerned by the decline of our community shopping areas. I share this view and am determined that this should not affect our quality of life.
“Much of Cheam’s special character comes from our long-established independent shops. They are the heart of our community. The Conservatives are running the ‘Support Our Small Shops’ campaign so that we use our local shops and do not lose them.”
