Dispersal Orders
Conservative Councillors in Worcester Park have launched a petition to test public opinion whether they feel Dispersal Orders would help. We the undersigned are concerned or have been affected by large groups of youths congregating in the Borough and petition the Metropolitan Police Borough Commander and Sutton Council to use all the legal powers available, in particular the use of Dispersal Orders, to tackle this problem. We also call on Sutton Council to halt projected cuts in its youth provision budget and to work with the voluntary sector to provide constructive alternatives for Sutton's youth.
